Reference, Not Engineering Advice

The charts are reference data for planning and shop work, built from published standards and checked against other references. Mistakes are possible, standards are revised, and manufacturers’ parts vary. Confirm critical dimensions, fits and fastener choices against the manufacturer’s data or the governing standard before you rely on them.

Anything structural or safety-critical (lifting, pressure, vehicles, aircraft, anything where a failed fastener could hurt someone) needs a qualified engineer and the manufacturer’s specifications. Nothing on this site replaces that.
