About SizePlate
SizePlate is a set of fast, printable reference charts for the shop: tap drills, drill bit sizes, thread pitch, bolt and socket sizes, and resistor codes. It’s named after a drill index plate, where every size sits in order and you can find the one you need at a glance.
How the Charts Work
- Search first. Type a size the way you’d say it (1/4-20, M6, #7, .201, 5.1 mm, 4.7k) and the answer appears above the chart, with the matching row highlighted.
- Every chart prints. Each chart prints to a clean black-on-white sheet with a title block: chart number, standard, revision, and a QR code back to the live page.
- Nothing is sent anywhere. Lookups run in your browser. What you search for is kept in the page address so you can share it.
Where the Numbers Come From
The tables are built from the published standards for each subject (ASME B1.1 and ISO 261 for threads, ASME B94.11M for drill sizes, ASME B18 and ISO 4017 for fasteners, IEC 60062 and 60063 for resistors) and checked against two independent references. See Method & Sources for the details and the checks the build runs on every change.

A Note on Ads
SizePlate is free and supported by advertising. Ads never appear inside a chart or on a printed sheet, and we don’t recommend tools or suppliers for money.
